Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration
The fire is the loud part. The quiet parts, soot spreading through ductwork, smoke odor setting into everything soft, water from the hoses, do damage for weeks if nobody stops them. We stop them, and then we rebuild.
What we do
From smoke smell to move-back-in.
Fire losses are really three losses in one: burn damage, smoke and soot contamination, and the water used to put it out. A real fire restoration handles all three, and saves everything that can honestly be saved.
- Emergency board-up & roof tarping: secure the structure against weather and entry, day one.
- Water removal: hose water is still water damage; we extract and dry alongside the fire work.
- Soot & smoke cleaning: the right method per surface (dry sponge, wet clean, media blasting) so cleanup doesn't become damage.
- Odor elimination: HEPA air scrubbing, hydroxyl/ozone treatment, and duct cleaning, not perfume over smoke.
- Contents pack-out: inventory, careful cleaning, and storage of belongings while the house is worked on.
- Structural rebuild: from charred framing to final paint, one contract, our crews.
- Don't re-enter until the fire department clears the structure, floors and rafters can fail after they look fine.
- Don't run the HVAC, it pulls soot into every room and duct in the house.
- Don't wipe soot off walls or furniture; wrong cleaning sets the stain permanently.
- Call your insurance carrier to open the claim, then call us for board-up and tarping the same day.
Then call us: (918) 340-2484. We answer 24/7 and walk you through it until the crew arrives.

Our process
How a fire recovery actually unfolds
Families tell us the worst part is not knowing what happens next. This is what happens next.
-
Secure & stabilize
Board-up, roof tarp, temporary power assessment, water extraction. The house stops getting worse today.
-
Assess & inventory
Room-by-room documentation of structure and contents, what's lost, what's cleanable, what's untouched. This becomes your claim.
-
Contents pack-out
Salvageable belongings are inventoried, packed, cleaned, deodorized, and stored until the house is ready for them.
-
Strip, clean & deodorize
Damaged materials removed; salvageable surfaces cleaned by the correct method; odor treated at the source.
-
Rebuild
Framing, systems, drywall, finishes, rebuilt to code and to your taste, not just to “what was there.”
-
Walkthrough & warranty
You inspect everything with us. Contents come home. Warranty goes in the drawer where the smoke smell used to be.
After a “small” fire
Why even small fires need real attention
A contained kitchen fire can still mean a whole-house problem:
- Soot is acidic, it etches metal, glass, and finishes for days after the fire
- Smoke odor absorbs into drywall, insulation, and fabric, and returns with humidity
- HVAC systems spread contamination to rooms the fire never touched
- Heat damages wiring and plumbing inside walls where nobody looked
- Extinguisher residue is corrosive and needs proper cleanup
What to expect
How long does fire restoration take?
Ranges vary more than any other loss type, severity drives everything.
Stabilization
Board-up, tarping, water out, safety assessment, claim opened.
Cleaning phase
Soot and odor remediation, contents pack-out and cleaning, demolition of unsalvageable materials.
Rebuild
A scorched kitchen may be weeks; significant structural fire damage can run months. You'll have a written schedule and one contact throughout.
Every loss is different. These are honest typical ranges, not promises. We'll give you a written scope and schedule for your home after the first walkthrough.
Insurance
We speak insurance, so you don't have to.
Fire claims are usually the largest claim a family ever files, structure, contents, and additional living expenses (ALE) for the time you can't live at home. We document all three from day one and prepare the scopes your adjuster needs, so you're negotiating from a complete file rather than a memory of what the living room held.
Read how we handle documentation, adjuster visits, and supplements on our insurance claims page. It's the part of this work most companies gloss over.
